Welcome to RL3 Baseball!
RL3 stands for Redford Livonia Little League. Even though our boundaries cover a number of other cities, our little league was first established covering Redford and Livonia.
We are a non-profit organization serving the youth of the area under Little League International. We are not a multi-sport organization, we focus on one sport, and one sport only.

Not all leagues are able to get this designation, and to obtain it, the league must go through validation checks and make sure that they are playing by a universal set of rules that are set forth by Little League. And with that designation, we are able to provide so much more to the players in our organization.
One of the best things that sets RL3 above all others is with our player evaluations. At the beginning of the season, we invite all of the registered players to show their skill level, and from there we are able to make determinations about what division of baseball the player should be playing at. This way we are able to challenge the player in their development, while also making sure the safety of other players is considered. The teams are then drafted from scratch, combining a mixture of players that can work together to help each other improve! We make sure to teach the fundamentals which then builds the confidence in all of the players. It helps to create great teammates in a competitive, yet supportive environment.
As with most other leagues, a lot of our coaches are volunteers. But at RL3, we provide our coaches with additional tools to help them be successful! With game plans, practice sessions, and even drills, we make sure that our coaches are able to be the best they can be for their team.
All-Stars
As our RL3 regular season starts to wrap up, we invite any participants that are interested to try out for the RL3 All-Star teams. This is divided into our different divisions of farm (rookie), minors, and majors. If the player is selected for the team, they are qualified to play in divisional games against other teams from other cities such as, Lincoln Park, Huron Twp, Flat Rock, Taylor North / South, etc. This is the route players can take to pursue their dreams of playing in the Little League World Series. (LLWS) RL3 has been very successful, and has had many teams move on from being district champions, and even playing in the state championship.
As we know there are always going to be questions you might have... we encourage you to please reach out!
